Problems
========
Ñ OzTeX can only print on a PostScript-compatible printer.
Ñ Some operations are frustratingly slow, especially on a Mac Plus.
Be prepared for a lengthy wait when typesetting a large document.
Interpretation of DVI pages during printing/viewing can also be slow.
Ñ Because there is no integrated editor, you must remember to save a
document before typesetting it with OzTeX.
Ñ TeX doesn't like spaces in file names, so avoid them. If you forget
this and try to run TeX on a file called "my story.tex" then TeX will
complain that it can't find "my.tex".
Ñ Most of the TFMs for PostScript fonts have a couple of non-standard ligatures.
Typing "!!" produces "┴" and typing "??" produces "└". If you find this
annoying then you could replace the TFMs with equivalents from another source
or use the programs TFtoPL and PLtoTF to change the ligatures back to the
standard pairings ("!`" and "?`" respectively). Or you can type "!{}!".
Ñ When previewing a \special picture you might sometimes notice missing
black pixels at the bottom of the bitmap, particularly at full view.
This is due to the scaling algorithm used by the Mac's CopyBits routine.
The same effect can also occur when viewing scaled characters from a PK font.
The "missing" pixels will appear at some stage as you zoom in.
